CHILD Ethiopia
Helping to expand CHILD in Ethiopia
CHILD Ethiopia is a new local NGO that has been established in Addis Ababa as a sister organisation to the CHILD Trust. CHILD Ethiopia will seek to support existing and new implementations of the CHILD approach through partnership, capacity building and coordination.
The CHILD Trust will invest heavily in the capacity of CHILD Ethiopia to create a self-sustaining independent development partner. This will help support long term change by ensuring that capability and decision making is developed inside Africa rather than in the West.
In addition to programme implementation and management, CHILD Ethiopia will also seek to promote adaptive learning, research and disemination within the region.
